VR GAME PROGRAMMER
Development Department
Hyper Infinite is looking for a VR Game Development Expert to join our VR Game Development department with following Skills:
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Should have in-depth knowledge of Unity and C#.
· Mobile and computer-based game development experience.
· Should be able to collaborate with game designer and art team.
Must Haves:
· Should have worked on at least one VR Application or Game.
· Should have experience with PC gaming VR (HTC Vive or Oculus Rift or Windows MR).
· Should have good knowledge of humanoid Animations.
· Should have good knowledge on handling gaming physics and lighting.
· Should have good performance optimization skills.
· Good knowledge of C# and OOPs.
· Knowledge of Version control like GitLab or GitHub etc.
Nice to Have:
· Steam VR or Windows MR APIs Knowledge.
· Networked VR.
· Excellent networking knowledge.
· PC graphics render pipelines of Unity, Shader programming.
· JSON, COM Port and Socket Programming.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities:
· Quickly prototyping game ideas.
· Creating game play mechanics involving humanoid and other animations.
· Creating interactive UI.
· Prototyping gameplays in VR.
TEXTURING ARTIST

A strong understanding and a keen eye for the artistic fundamentals of Texturing.

Should able to do smart UV as per gaming workflow.

Should have good knowledge of texture baking process.

Be fluent in the use of Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Maya, Photoshop.

Should know all about PBR workflow and its principles.

Strong knowledge of the environment and character texturing.

Should be proficient in both realistic and stylized asset creation.

Any of the following experience is a great advantage:

Previous experience with Games pipeline

Game engine such as Unity would be a plus

Basic painting (digital or traditional) and sketching ability is an advantage.

1-3 years of experience in graphic design

GAME DESIGNER

• Must have basic knowledge in 3d game engines (Unity).
• 3D Math.
• Have an understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
• Knowledge in any aspects of gameplay engineering such as gameplay systems, user interface, AI, or networking.
• Programming Knowledge in C++.
• Able to think creatively and resolve technical challenges and limitations.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, both on a technical and creative basis.
• Strong time management & organization skills.
• Strong teamwork ethic.
Role & Responsibility:
• Responsible for building out the functionality for specific aspects of the game to achieve the goals set by the Director.
• Ability to work with C++, and can easily read through and expand on an existing codebase, and communicate with other engineers.
• Work with other engineers and designers to create the best user experience.
• Maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Tackle difficult technological challenges and problems.
• Experience with mobile platforms.
• Shading Languages a plus.
• Understanding of the entire 3D rendering pipeline.
• General working knowledge of HTTP/S, REST APIs.

VFX ARTIST

Game Designers are charged with developing game concepts whether they be their own original idea, a commissioned idea or a game based on another medium such as a film.
-
Whatever the scope of the task, the role of the Game Designer requires a mix of creative, managerial and technical responsibilities.
-
They may be expected to deliver the following:

Design and develop the original concept
-
Construct level structure
-
Write storyline, character bios, dialogue, plot points, game objective
-
Storyboard the action of the game
-
Conceive every element of the game including rules, setting, objects, vehicles, weapons, flora, fauna, etc,

Direct action sequences

Define user interface, menus and controls
-
Generate the Game Design Document (GDD)

Develop early prototypes

Decide on the devices and platforms on which the game is played

Define the user experience

Work with programmers to design the back end of the game

Research target audience to understand what they want in the game

Produce sound effects, dialogue, musical score, sound mix and sound edit

Manage quality assurance testing, and follow up on feedback

Oversee the marketing and distribution roll-out

Collaborate with engineers and designers to create beautiful assets without comprising performance

Assist in planning the asset production schedule, VFX pipeline, and workflow

Contribute to the creative process through original ideas and inspiration

Communicate closely with art, production, and design to execute the game vision

Deliver against time, budget, quality, and technical constraints
-
Drive continual improvements to our art standards, practices, and tools and document it.

1+ years of game development experience as a VFX artist specializing in VFX art and animation using, Maya, After Effects (or other compositing software), and Unity, Nuke
-
Experience in creating high-quality VFX art and animation for character, environment, and props.
-
Deep knowledge of 3D particle systems (Maya and Unity) and 2D particle systems to support them in After Effects or other 2D animation software
-
Experience in integrating and implementing VFX animations from Maya into Unity is a major plus
-
Experience in creating VFX shaders in Unity, including animated UVs, transparency and advanced materials and shaders for a wide range of effects
-
Should have strong artistic skills - color theory, lighting, shape, depth of field, composition, movement, etc.
-
Understanding of optimization and technical constraints on VFX creation.
-
Knowledge of the pre-production process for high-end game development.
-
Able to deliver constructive feedback, accept criticism, perform and adapt quickly in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Experience with rendered game cinematics VFX is a plus

Experience with the creation of VFX related tools is a plus

Experience working as a Tech Artist is a plus

Must have a passion for games and game art

A demo reel with examples of VFX animation is required with your application.
